In ayahuasca ceremonies we sit in the malocca at night. After drinking ayahuasca, we wait for the inklings of lift-off, the first sense of shift in feeling and vision. Then the luminous field of energy emerges, and we are immersed in a different world, strange, marvelous, awe-inspiring, deeply moving.
