CNBC Power Lunch
One Good Idea: Medicine Hunter

Discussing plant medicines, with
Chris Kilham, Medicine Hunter Inc.
founder and CNBC's Sue Herera,
Tues. Jan. 15 2008 | 12:45 PM

Sue Herera: I asked you what’s your favorite place—he travels all over the world, certainly—and you said the Amazon.

Chris Kilham:
Yeah, I grew up watching Wild Kingdom as a kid. I wanted to be an explorer.

Sue Herera:
Me too!

Chris Kilham:
You know, Marlin Perkins and Jim Fowler were like my heroes.

Sue Herera:
Absolutely!

Unison:
Mutual of Omaha!

Chris Kilham:
I love the Amazon. I just wanna to cry every time I go there both for the majestic beauty and for the fact that it’s gonna be a museum exhibit in a couple of decades if we don’t stop the deforestation.
